RasGasHamad Mubarak Al Muhannadi
Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of RasGas Company Limited, Hamad Mubarak Al Muhannadi leads with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Appointed Chief Operations Officer of RasGas in December 2004, Hamad Mubarak Al Muhannadi was instrumental in developing responsible management of operational risks and overall Operations, Maintenance and Engineering and Minor Capital Projects. Prior to becoming Chief Operations Officer, Al Muhannadi had assumed a newly created position of Management Services Manager.

Al Muhannadi joined RasGas in July 1994 as the Onshore Business Manager after a nine year stint with Qatar Petroleum. In October 1999, he was appointed Project Manager to oversee the construction stage of the first trains of RasGas. Al Muhannadi was instrumental in establishing a centralised Contracts Department in RasGas since he took over as Contracts Manager in 2000.

Twenty years in RasGas, Al Muhannadi has championed the development and implementation of several strategic plans. He served on the Board of Directors of Qatalum February 2013 to June 2015.

Hamad Mubarak Al Muhannadi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, USA.



RasGasFahad Mohammed Al Khater
Chief Operations Officer

Mr Fahad Mohammed Al Khater was appointed as the Chief Operations Officer of RasGas in May 2015.

Mr Al Khater holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from HEC Paris. He has extensive experience in Operations, Projects, and Strategic Planning at RasGas over the last 16 years.

Mr Al Khater has been a key member of the Operations Leadership Team since March 2006. He has held several managerial positions in Operations, including Asset Manager for Trains 3, 4, 5 and AGI, Operations Business Manager, and Operations Projects Engineering Manager. In May 2014, he was appointed as Manufacturing Manager, in which capacity he was directly accountable for adherence to safety and environmental protocols as well as the reliable production of 37MT of LNG from 7 LNG trains and 2 bscf of gas from two sales gas trains.

Mr Al Khater also led the Operations Qatarization Committee since 2007, contributing significantly to the successful Qatarization achievements of RasGas.



RasGasNafez A. Bseiso
Chief Development Officer

Mr. Nafez A. Bseiso was appointed as the RasGas Chief Development Officer effective January 2016. Prior to this, Mr. Bseiso held the positions of RasGas' Chief Venture Officer and Subsurface Technical Group Manager.

Prior to joining RasGas in March 1996, Mr. Bseiso was the Technical Manager of Qatargas from 1993-1996. Before this, he spent 14 years with Qatar Petroleum and held a number of senior positions, including Production Manager, Petroleum Engineering Manager, and Chairman of the Facilities Development Group.

Overall, Mr. Bseiso has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and has a strong multidisciplinary technical background, which includes experience with surface facilities, subsurface, engineering, research, project development and operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States of America.



RasGasAhmed Darwish
Chief Employee Development & Welfare Officer

Mr. Ahmed Darwish was appointed Chief Employee Development & Welfare Officer in December 2015 and is responsible for the strategic planning, management and well-being of RasGas' employees.

With an impressive track record of developing and executing strategies to achieve corporate goals, he brings almost twenty years' experience in strategic planning and management across a variety of industries, in particular the energy sector.

Mr. Darwish was originally appointed as Chief Management Services Officer in 2011 and over a four year period was instrumental in leading strategic changes across supply, facilities management and information technology. He held a number of key technical and managerial positions since joining RasGas in 1999. To develop a wider skills base, Mr. Darwish also undertook external assignments with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Qatar Charity Authority and with Ashghal, Qatar's road services company.

Mr. Darwish holds a MBA from Hull University, United Kingdom and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Outside of RasGas, he serves on several boards within Qatar, supporting Qatar's diverse economic development.



RasGasTom Mc Hale
Chief Financial Officer

Mr Tom Mc Hale was appointed Chief Financial Officer for RasGas Company Limited in March 2003. With over 25 years' experience as a senior executive in the energy industry, he brings to RasGas excellent technical, change management and interpersonal skills developed in a varied and diverse international career.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Mc Hale was Finance Director of the Statoil oil and gas exploration operations in Ireland, with a focus on exploration and production joint venture activities on the technically challenging Atlantic margin. He has extensive management experience in upstream oil and gas operations with Chevron Texaco in their United Kingdom and Angola operations.

Mr Mc Hale holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and as a qualified accountant is a long-standing member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He serves as a board member of the American School of Doha, Qatar.



RasGasKhalid Sultan R. Al Kuwari
Chief Marketing & Shipping Officer

Mr Khalid Sultan R. Al Kuwari leads the Marketing & Shipping Group, and is responsible for RasGas' global LNG commercial and marketing activities, economic and market analysis, production planning, and shipping operational and scheduling activities.

Mr Al Kuwari joined RasGas in 1997 as a Petroleum Engineer and has held leading positions in the company's Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Operations and Technical Planning departments.

In 2003, he was assigned to LNG Marketing as Marketing Manager and as a member of the RasGas Marketing Committee. In 2007, Al Kuwari was appointed Marketing Executive, and his scope of responsibilities further expanded in 2011 to include Production Planning and Allocation, Sales Contract and the management of the RasGas shipping activities with a fleet of 27 LNG carriers.

Mr Al Kuwari has held board representative positions for the South Hook Gas (UK) and Adriatic LNG (Italy) companies. He has a B.Sc. in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and an EMBA from HEC-Paris.



RasGasKhalid Al Hemaidi
Chief Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Officer

Mr Khalid Al Hemaidi is Chief Officer of the Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Quality group at RasGas, an appointment he has held since October 2015.

In addition to SHE, his portfolio of responsibilities include Loss Prevention and Risk Management, Integrity Management and Quality, Security, Fire Service, Emergency Response and Business Continuity.

Mr Al Hemaidi joined RasGas in 2001 and has more than twenty years' experience in the oil and gas industry across offshore and onshore operations, maintenance, engineering, and expansion projects. During his time at RasGas he has held managerial positions as Offshore Installation Manager, Barzan Asset Manager, Offshore Asset Manager, and most recently Manufacturing Manager, where he was responsible for all associated operations of RasGas' seven LNG trains, sales gas trains, offshore production facilities and Helium plants.

Mr Al Hemaidi holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull, U.K., and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A.



RasGasDr. Rashid Sultan Al Kuwari
Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Kuwari was appointed Chief Technical Officer in May 2016. His responsibilities include providing engineering support and project management for all RasGas operating assets and new facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations and project execution.

Dr. Al Kuwari has more than 16 years of technical and leadership experience in RasGas where he has held diverse leadership roles including Chief Corporate Planning Officer, Learning & Development Manager, and Human Resources Manager. He is also the Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Program Industry Advisory Board at Texas A&M University at Qatar.

Dr. Al Kuwari holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, MBA and Engineering degrees.



RasGasOmar Al Misnad
Chief Management Services Officer

Mr. Omar Al Misnad was appointed as Chief Management Services Officer (CMSO) in December 2015. He is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of Facilities Management, Supply, Information Technology and Public Affairs services.

Mr. Al Misnad joined RasGas in 2000, and has directed significant accomplishments during his 15 years with the company, including establishing solid processes and best practices while developing talent within his team.

Mr. Al Misnad has 19 years' experience in the energy industry in a variety of key leadership roles including in construction and engineering, business development and commercial negotiations, and the operations and maintenance of LNG and power plants. His significant experience in Operations enables him to continue to enhance the delivery of key customer services in Management Services Group, the primary goal of which is to support RasGas in achieving its vision to be a world-class global energy supplier striving for excellence. MGS achieves this by providing employees, contractors and stakeholders with a wide range of essential services to enable the efficient operation of RasGas.

Mr. Al Misnad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Oklahama, U.S.A.



RasGasDr Marwan M. A. Musleh
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Dr Marwan M. A. Musleh is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the RasGas group of companies:

(Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited 'RL', Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (II) 'RL(II)', Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) 'RL3', RasGas Company Limited 'RasGas' and Barzan Gas Company Limited 'BGC').

Prior to joining RasGas, Dr. Musleh worked in private practice, dealing with multinational commercial project financing transactions that included corporate financing, litigation and arbitration (ad hoc and with the ICC). He has over 20 years' of experience in common, civil, commercial and corporate law and other regulatory matters. A significant part of his experience is in the energy sector including drafting and negotiating variety of upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas agreements. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) as well as the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and serves on the Review Committee of Energy Arbitrators of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, a division of the American Arbitration Association.

Dr Marwan holds a Doctorate of Law (LL.D) degree in the constitutional and judicial laws of the United States of America, and is a guest lecturer at the Law College, Qatar University.



RasGasHamad Al Qayed
Chief Corporate Planning Officer

Mr. Hamad Al Qayed was appointed as Chief Corporate Planning Officer in January 2016. He joined RasGas in 2000 as a graduate Systems Analyst and progressed his career in the Information Technology (IT) department until 2006. After that he joined the Employee Development Project (EDP) on a special assignment where he led the IT systems development projects. Mr. Al Qayed extended his experience as IT Manager to QAPCO prior to re-joining RasGas in 2008 as Business Support Manager supporting Employee Development and Welfare and Management Services groups. During this time he managed strategic business development in line with corporate business long term plans and ensured its integration into the business planning process and systems improvements.

In 2012, he assumed the role of Information Technology Manager to lead the recovery and IT Resilience team. In this role he has efficiently and effectively optimised IT service delivery value proposition and realigned IT as a strategic partner for different RasGas business functions, managed and centralised delivery of all IT projects with embedded project management best practice, and ensured an effective execution of Information Security within the organisation.

Mr. Al Qayed holds a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Qatar University. He is also a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) and Certified in Personnel Practices (CPP) from Charted Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
